I attended a meeting with a view to entering a trial for the use of Adjuvant Atezolizumab for people with muscle invasive bladder cancer.
Although I had some background information on the subject, there were still a few concerns that I wasn't sure about.
Professor Birtle was very explanatory, put me at ease and provided detailed information on the concerns that I had. She did so in a polite, professional manner and yet was very respectful about our concerns.
Professor Birtle was extremely knowledgeable on the subject and following the meeting I was left in no doubt about the next course of treatment.
